I have been running linux-2.4.20-31.9 (updated several times from the
version originally installed) and was working on installing WinXP
(multiboot) and I inadvertently trashed the /boot partitionH
I have a topology where 2 machines are connected back to back.
In Machine 1 following config made.
Have created a vlan interface using the command
vconfig add eth0 2
ifconfig eth0.2 10.0.This is a usb memory stick device.
mkfs.vfat can do the job but this erases all current contents.
How can it be done without erasing the current contents?
All the mtools utilities seem uselessHi

on your hard drive as the sources for building the bootdisk.
Therefore you must have the /boot and the /lib/modules
