I have an a31p thinkpad. But Rh9.0 only works with the usb mouse plugged
in. If I unplug the mouse and restart the system I cannot use my
thrackpoint. How can I get it to work?

working under shrike.

I am having a starnge problem. After installing the nVidia drivers my fonts
became colorfull. What I meen is that they seem out of focus and are not
black. Resembles something like a CRT monitor with Has anyone been able to get freshRPMS apt working. Mine hangs every time on
the "Reading Package Lists ". Anyone knows how to get this working???

I installed Redhat 9.0 and I am really happy with it. Very good-looking
fonts bluecurve is really beautiful and many GUI tools for system
administration. However I have some questions on thinDoes anybody use php-scripts instead of perl- or shell-scripts
to some system adminstration tasks such like compressing
analysing logfiles creating statistics?
I hate perl although I know its very I would like to install synaptic [ synaptic-0.36.1-fr1.i386.rpm ] for RH-9
but it wants " libapt-pkg-libc6.3-5.so.0 " which I have not been able
to find.

I 've got shrike running on this laptop but pcmcia never worked. Ive
heard it has something to do with a bad bios. I installed a mini-pci
orinoco wireless card that works fine in windows xp bI was looking through the phoebe-list archives for instructions on how
to re-install the nice red-glass mouse pointers that were in Phoebe
beta2 (RH 8.0.93) and came across this post
