wHas anyone successfully installed a Creative Audigy in shrike?
It was not detected during setup and when I tried to modprobe the
audigy module (emu10k1) I got I/O errors and something in the lines ofI 've been using Pine for many years as a text-mode e-mail client on which
I could check the status of my servers. Given Pine 's "deprecated " status
in RHL I 'm looking for an alternative.
I don 't nHow might one go about adjusting the bass for the audio? I did not find
such an option on the Volume Control. Audio card (RealTek) is built into
the MB.

I 'm curious as to how this option is really supposed to work. Once I
specify this it seems to want to go back into Disk Druid again to
repartition the system. I would have hoped that it would have I 'm attempting to set up a software RAID-5 array consisting of 5 120GB
hard drives 3 internal (on Promise ATA cards) and 2 external
(FireWire). I have everything defined just fine in /etc/raidtab This system successfully installed graphically in AS2.1 7.3 8.0 but
it 's crash and burn under shrike.
The video card (on board on a Presario 6000Z) is an S3 Graphics
ProSavage DDR.

Anyway I can 't figure out how to add a floppy
mount/unmount icon to my default GNOME desktop. I
know that CD 's are aUmm... fdisk shows that /dev/hda has 255 heads and /dev/hdd has 16 heads.
That explains the cylinder difference. The BIOS says they both have 16
heads. There is no BIOS update to the Shuttle SK41G. I was having email problems so I wasn 't sure the first got misplaced.

reiserfs-utils also comes stock. You should be fine with reiser use.

Install RH9 and I want to RAID /dev/hda and /dev/hdd together. Both drives
are identical 40 gig Maxtors. Hoever Disk Druid shows
/dev/hda

/dev/hdrpmbuild has a new feature in that it will automatically create a
<name >-debuginfo package when you (re)build a package. This is documented in
the RELEASE-NOTES
