I 've just installed the updated Alsa (0.9.3a) from freshrpms but it
seems they cause random drop-outs on my Audigy card especially in some
games (frozen bubble & wine based stuff). Anyone else Ok .First i thought i was nuts then i cranked up the volume..
I got a gateway and im logged in through ssh from that command line
( on the gateway ) i started Opera web browser.. and O Surprise !

I 've just upgraded to shrike from RH8. On boot kudzu ask to remove the
sound device configuration. At first I let kudzu 'do nothing ' to the
config but sound didn 't work when I finally logged in.Hello
Did anyone ever install Interchange on RH9?
This one seems to be a big problem with many issues!
Interchange doesn 't work with a "threaded " perl. Does this mean that I
need to install an earlI 've installed a set of mouse pointers which work in KDE and in the KDE
apps while in Gnome. However I fall short of brain power when I try to
figure out how to enable these pointers for the Gnome desOkay putting 0x in front didn 't work. Dropping s and putting in hex didn 't
work. Dropping s and putting in the ASCII string results in an error. Any
other ideas? I find it highly ironic that WEDoes anyone have a functioning KDE multimedia setup? I 'm wondering why nothing
seems to work on my system. For one thing OGG playback does not work (see

keyboard. It 's *definitely NOT* a Canadian bilingual one. The only

A client of mine has asked me to put RH9 on an old
Sparcstation2 as a test bed for some development
work. I 've looked on ftp.redhat.com and on some of

My boot log has an entry when loading lpd that says "Get_local_host
