I just installed RH9 and in KDE when I try to start desktop sharing I get the following error "Cannot find KInetD. Have you restarted KDE? ". Yes I have restarted it. I have a KInetD folder inIs anyone using the new Serial ATA drives with RH 9?
Looking to make sure some people have had some success before dumping the money
on one.
Is SATA built into the stock RH kernels?

following up on a previous post of mine i 'm still trying
to clarify the issues related to building and running a new
kernel and header files.
based on having made pretty much every possible mistake there
was to make in experimenting with the 2.5 kernel some random

I just installed mail server on RedHat 9. Pop3 server is answering very
slowly sometimes it needs around 20 seconds to answer. Once when it
answer it works fine. It is called through xinetInteresting. I have the PGP plugin for OE and it seems to work
otherwise.
But I don 't need to solve an OE problem here. Thanks.

downloading the errata and then installing them. I ran into an error
with the glibc and glibc-common errata

somewhere. Is it because you don 't like to send from
the same machiIs anyone using an HP 712C for printing on a small network? HP concurs
it won 't work connected to a WIN box using Samba. It just gives an
error message on the WinMe box when tried. I can 't get it tI know related questions have been asked before on this list but I
understood there was never really a consensus.
