I have an HP Photosmart 320 USB camera that worked great under RH 8 but not
under 9.
To get it to work I have to be root or change permissions on the /proc/dev/usb/
area.
Isn 't this wha When looking in /proc/pid/fd when the fd is a socket does anyone
know what the number there ( "socket [nnnn] ") represents?

nicely (I use one with both Linux/Windows). If you want to run it with

I have several systems running RH9 and on all but one the user can run
up2date from a shell. On the last system the console user can run
up2date from the RHN applet but from a shell the result isI tried the redhat-install-list first but no replies.

i miss a feature of lilo.
with lilo i could change with the -R Has anyone gotten the mplayer plugin to work in
