I now have the 3 Red Hat 9 CDROMS that have
the many RPMs instead of one gigantic 650MB ISO file.
All it took was using the CD burner software corI downloaded Red Hat Linux 9 a few days ago from ftp.utulsa.edu site. It consisted of six CD 's (1-3 iso & 4-6 rpms). I noticed on the Red Hat Linux site there is only three CD 's to download. Why is thI 'm looking into getting an ethernet card for my Inspiron 5000e laptop
running RH 7.3. Does anyone have recommendations for cards that they have
had good experiences with (or warnings about ones thGood Question BH.
I am using "Easy CD Creator 5 Basic " and selected
ieee9960 data format for the cdrom "disk " burn. I 'm

You are correct about the IDE channel
Master/Slave problem. I have both of my
IDE drives set as Masters through the

I have just learned from Promise Technologies that
my RAID 1 (mirror) card will only work with Red Hat
7.3 (kernel 2.4.18-3) or 8.0 (kernel 2.4.18-14). How
