We have a Dell Inspiron 8200 that we want to display
the screen to a larger monitor for demo purposes. We
installed RH 7.3 on the laptop. When we try to switch
the screen over to the largerI have a 7.3 machine now running with bind 9.0.2. I have three
machines. Two RH 7.3 machines and one Win2k box.
On my Win2k box when I query using nslookup server1 it complains about
"Can 't find seSince a couple of days I am fighting with Red Hat 7.3
Valhalla to get my MUAs fetch mails from my ISP. I got
ALL ALL in /etc/hosts.deny. I have sshd and the needed
services to get NFS working in my loI am seeing the same exactly the same symptoms with the 3C905B on
2.4.18-5 but without any error messages.
My experience is the following machines all running 2.4.18-5

I am running Red Hat 7.3 kernel 2.4.18-4 and XFree86 Version 4.2.0. My
video card is Nvidia Riva TNT2 M64. Just now I am running nv drivers ( the
ones that come with the O.S. )My problThere is apparently a bug in the Valhalla installer that prevents it from
functioning on certain older hardware. On my 486DX4 Thinkpad for
example the "loader " phase halts with a sig11. (And yes How do I enable a monitor power-save mode when using the VESA VGA graphics
console frame buffer?
XWindows is not running.
When NOT using the frame buffer device (normal VGA console) the following Someone has to know how to fix.

nimrDoes your old box think that it 's primary and authoritative for the
domain? Remove its entry from named.conf restart named and see if it
helps.

I am wondering why there is no NTFS support fI have built apache from the ground up several times but this time I am
using the rpm install in an attempt to keep my 7.3 box fairly standard.
The problem is that I cannot find a php-informix rpm. I try to build openoffice from rawhide source in valhalla 7.3
i did with gcc 2.96 as primary and gcc3 as secondary.

I have installed Redhat Linux 7.3 on a Dell computer (with a Pentium 4
processor).
I have another machine ( a biprocessor machine ) running Readhat Linux 7.2 on

same LAN. Now I would liI can 't find any kernel-modules rpm for 2.4.18-5 anywhere is it incorporated
in the kernel rpm is the latest kernel not modular or am I looking in all
the wrong places again?

It appears that due to power management setting - my machine gets to power saving state "not forgetting " to disable the ethernet card.
Just to make itI thought this article was pretty cool. Program someone created that allows

with accessing the internet. What often happens is that on Konqueror I get
