Hi Nick
HTML is not acceptable in mailing lists. Lots of people who Apparently we have to write the xinetd.d file to enable ftp by hand.
At least if it wasn 't enabled at install. Looking in /etc/xinetd.d
I see none for ftp.

The change from none to static did the trick. However I do have on redhat 7.1 and 7.2 one file with multiple ip addresses.
