I am having trouble with my sound blaster live card. It is on dual boot
machine with windows. it works in windows but it doesn 't work in linux.
Sndconfig detects the card correctly but i caI 'm running linux on a Compaq Evo N800c when i press ctrl-alt-f1 from
Gnome it switches me to a terminal screen as is supposed to happen. But
when i press ctrl-alt-f7 to switch back to the gui the cI am a Linux Newbie. I have setup a a 7.3 Linux server and I configured
Apache Web server with 1 virtual host. Should I create a new directory under

The problem is the NIC is working ONLY at 10MB - half

my motherboard to one with a VIA KT333 chipset I am having major problems with wu-ftpd when I ftp in I can not delete
directories under my home directory but I can create them. I have also
created a directory under the root directory called wwI 've got an interesting problem...well interesting to me anyhow.
Whenever I start up my Dell Latitude CPi 266 running RH7.3 from a cold
boot I get a screeching sound from the sound card/speakerSmall maybe silly question!
I need a GUI disk management tool to replace fdisk any got any suggestions?

I had DHCPD working on 7.2 but it stopped when I upgraded to 7.3. Is
there a simple fix for this?
Also can aif i use ssh 1.2 in linux server then i use ssh 2.4
in
the client pc (windows98).Will i cant use the client
pc to login the linux server via public key?
