into it. The card works fine for general graphics. The problem is when I try
to run programs that use the accelerated functi am sure this topic has been covered to death. my isp needs a magic number to authorize. i don 't know how to get kppp to do that. anyone have a link to a good site so i can continue to hammer on iArthur
By "default console " I assume you mean text mode without X as in
runlevels 1 and 3.
I do this by appending vga 795 to the 'kernel /vmlinuz... ' line in
grub.conf to set the mode to 1280x1024I get the following message from a W2K system running outlook 2000. It 's
accessing mail from a RH7.3 box using ipop3d.
"Message The server you are connected to is using a security certificate
that cThis may be a little off the RH7.3 path but I 'm looking for a good program
to display web statistics including virtual sites using Apache and RH7.3.

I 've just installed 7.3 (kernel 2.4.18-3) and I 'm having a horrible time
getting networking to function. I 've previously had 7.1 on this machine and
I had NO problems with my ethernet card or the I still cna 't figure out how to open up ports 5000-5010 with iptables on
redhat7.3
Tried using lokit bastille but can 't get the ports open still.
Any help?

Anyone have experience with 7.3 on a IBM Netfinity 4000R? I have a system that boots and runs great except when I go into the gui (startx). I have reset the video parameters and confirmed ahi all I have a G450 and cannot fire up the second head.
All works well otherwise I type
startx -- +xinerama
but I just get duplicate monitors not a nice long single screen.
The relavent secions Does anyone know if RH has a roadmap of future releases and what
improvements/additions they are working on?
Is it normal to see lame server resolving comments in the messages log?
How can you tell if named is working normally?
