I have the default 7.3 installation.
What procedurWhile configuring the .htaccess file I forget the command to add a user
to the auth users. I checked the file and I see that my password is
stored encrypted or something.

ipchains was blocking dns lookups on boot.
service network restart for some reason made it work even though I issued

The web server is working fine. As a newbie I wanted to see what Comanche

On downloading and trying to burn CD3 valhalla-i386-disc3.iso 517079040 it
just burns the .iso file rather than a file hierarchy. Should it be doing
this? After several burns the install still doesn ' I have a US Robatics external 56k modem that Redhat version 7.3
cannot detect. It gives me a generic setup which doesn 't work. So no
internet on the new linux.
Anyone have the same problem?

I did a test on a linux 7.3 box. using telnet to log all the employees of my company. The weird thing is that after the 63rd logged users. The telnet daemon denied more logins. The only thing is thHere is the question.

not seem to be the case. I know nothing about java. One of the application

I need to swap the screen for a projector. As we need it for teaching
purposes I have to do it at the kernel level.
Now which file in the kernl do I need to have good knowledge of and what
I am trying to install the entire OS on a SAN which is connected through a
qlogic fiber card (qla2302f). When I go through the install it detects
the fiber card and installs the drivers. EverythinI need an updated rsync mirror list for redhat.com. Anyone know where I can find one?

Just got 7.3 running after discovering the i586 kernel was not
included in the 5 CD 's for this version... -( Had to download
kernel-2.4.18-10.i586 and it 's 13 MBytes. Now it runs but...
