I am looking into upgrading a lot of the software (PHP MySQL sendmail
Apache) on my 2 servers (RH8 and RH9) but I 'm quite nervous about it.
These are both production servers anI need to have a PHP that includes the Sablotron XSLT parser. In RHEL3 I
used a vendor-supplied PHP SRPM but that version is now out of date. I
tried rebuilding php-4.3.9-3.2 with the extensioI checked Redhar AS3.0 update 4 did NOT cone with
Pine. I download Pine from Washington University and
tried to installed it ON AS 3.0 UP4. The error is
rpm -ivh pine-4.62-1.i386.rpm
PreparinNot sure about hardlinks but symlinks and file permissions etc would
all
be preserved using tar or cpio to do the copy. Rsync is another option
as
well.
To copy using tar
cd /src/dir tar Hi !

"freeing unused kernel memory 248k freed " at this point I can
