I am trying to terminate process through kill command as
kill 2002 (Here 2002 is pid of specific process)
Now when i check to see pidof process it shows me the pid of that

Im trying to recompile the kernel in EL4 ES in order to get the clock
running correctly under VMware ESX.
As Redhat dont provide much info on the process for this under EL4 ive
kinWhere do I get information on the setup of an ftp install site? I don 't
seem to find the full details I need on the structure and needed
daemons etc.
Any pointers?
