how to login a default user in redhat automatically
without asking for password. wether user might be root
or a ordinary user.. but it should not authenticate..
just automatically

I have a Dell Latitude laptop with RH9 and I need to add a serial hub
to it (RS232 not USB).
Anybody knows of one that works with RH9 (and Dell Latitude maybe)

1 RH-9 server [ LAN ]
2 hosts [ NK and LK ]
The dialup server [ LAN ] has 2 nics [eth0 and eth1]
which are connected to [NK] and [LKSomeone from another list provided the answer.
load the compat-libstdc++ from redhat (i used up2date)
and this resolved my problem -- )
