Reoduanif the drive is formated as fat32 or ntfs they do not know of linux type
permissions. So if that is the case.. you must umask that partition at mount
time

It has the latest kernel update 2.6.9-42.0.8.ELsmp but the memory is always being used by some unexplained procesI have RHEL AS 4. I was hoping to run postgresql 8.x on it but after I
installed the packages I found redhat was still packaging 7.4. This
is really an old version of postgresql. So I went to the redI tried to load RHEL 4.4 on a Dell Optiplex 745 and for some reason it
cannot recognize the SATA drives. Fedora Core 6 installs fine and tells
