I had a disk fail on my HP X4000 machine which was running Redhat WS
version3. I have installed the new disk and for some reason now when I boot
the machine it is not finding the disk at all when iI just wanted to point out what I would consider an implementation flaw in
RH Version of OpenLDAP. It is both the same on RHEL4 and 5. In the LDAP init
script provided by Red Hat (/etc/init.d/ldap) thTrue but there is a caveat (at least with older Proliants and/or kernels) you must make a new initrd _before_ rebooting after the installation or your newly found drivers will not work (that is theFirts thanks to all the people who has tried to solve our problem.
The key is download the correct image drivers disk which are for HP Proliant ML150 G3 in the next pages

The fstab is not to blame for this issue as i have just run mkraid /dev/md0
and then a mount -a and the area mounted straight away. It is as if the
mkraid command is not recognised when the machinepls give suggestion
