  | | | Linux | You 'll need set ldap in /etc/nsswitch.conf for passwd shadow and group
and set pam_ldap.so for auth password and session in system-auth.
There are other thing you could include in your system-auth depIs there anything that needs to be done to the system-auth pam module to
allow this to work correctly?

uniqueMember with the full dn for those users that should be allowed
access.
In /etc/ldap.conf
pam_groupdn cn unixusers ou Groups dc I have much interest on how to get pam_groupdn to work because I have
been battling with it for a few days now with not hope in sight.

-----Original Message-Hi
We currently have around 20 CentOS Servers and are in the process of
changing these to Redhat.
How do I set up an internal mirror site to maximise update throughput and
minimise servers gpoing toAdding printers through the web interface does not give one the
detailed configuration that I used to get through printtool.
When I try to Configure through the web pages I get
server-error-inteI am using RedHat 5. From what I see that is not available in 5. I did
see a kernel-PAE and that does work. I tried the following 2 lines and both
returned no results
yum search highmen

You need to install the highmen kernel its already done for you by RedHat.
yum search highmen
I have just set up all of my Redhat Linux machines to use ntp time
synchronisation off a couple of servers. All but two of the machines have
worked fine. The two machines that do not work are the I have an old application that is being moved from UNIX to Linux
and it can only open what it thinks is a physical tty device. On the
UNIX system we have a process called ptsd (Pseudo TerminalThank You. kernel-PAE. I notice that there isn 't a kernel-PAE-headers
though. Does the kernel-PAE use the normal kernel-headers?

From redhat-list-bounces@(protected)You need to change your kernel to a version who suports PAE i think kernel-xxx-highmem
grep pae /proc/cpuinfo
Because by default the 32bit plataform only suports 4Gb to work with more than that yThere 's a kernel config option called "High Memory Support " with three
options less than 1GB between 1 and 4GB and greater than 4GB.
fix a recompile would be required in this case.
If you want I have a server that had 2GB of memory on it. I just up it to 8GB. During
boot it shows all 8GB but my Redhat only shows 4GB. I didn 't install the
desktop version...as far as I know. Is there soWith the latest updates on RedHat EL 2.6.9-55.0.2 I have been
having problems adding network printers to the system.
printtool setup and the web interface do not seem to be working well
