I have a rh9 server running with samba an cups. I have installed an oki
laser-jet network printer on the server.
The server runs with win98 clients and I want the win98 clients to use Hi gurus -
I have redhat 9 - have installed vsftp -
It works fine on the server - but I can 't get in from
'the outside ' - it looks like a firewall issue -

I am sharing some directories via SMB and I am attempting to have them set
up so that when anyone creates a file within them the new file simply
inherits the permissions of the shared dI 've got multiple machines all authenticating via NIS from one machine.
All the machines recognize the users in a group called 'users '. I see

I execute 'rpm-Uvh /blah/blah/expect-devel-blah ' the terminal locks up.

Problem with FTP.
1/ I specify "FTP fred " with a .netrc file which includes the logon info but the ftp doesn 't seem to be finding (or execuOk I am new to setting this up on Redhat.
In short I want to enable ipforwarding so systems
behind eth0 can get out to the network via eth1.
All systems are on same subnet there is no
