the public (internet) to a machine running "PVCS " (development control)
software behind the firewall.

I am having two problems with ppp in Red Hat 7.1
First
when i establish a ppp conneI have an NFS server and several clients. Sometimes a file will become
locked and no process seems to be holding the lock. I can fix this by
shutting down all the machines and bringing them back uI can 't set env vars. I have tried from a terminal in Gnome I have tried from the command line I have tried using my .profile file and .bash-profile file. Anybody have any ideas???? I really don 'tI have tried several times to sign up on the Psyche list -- once I
found it. In each case nothing happened. I never got the confirming
email.

You can install the Oracle client for linux and access by SQL*NET.

Can anyone tell me how can I make a RH7.1 box to automatically login a
certain user at startup? Of course eventually one can relogin as any user
he want.
Anyone know where to find the system 's upper limit on the number of files
allowed in a directory on a RH 7.1 system?

Please help me on this! My linux box is redhat 7.x not sure (but in /boot
it 's vmlinuz-2.4.7-10 and kernel.h-2.4.7). While I try to install libxml2.4
rpm it ask for glibc 6 so I guess mine iI really like the software phpmyadmin (www.phpmyadmin.net) but I don 't
think this is a RPM package.
Does anyone know if there is a RPM package that is similar to phpmyadmin or
does the same thing ?Have only seen the respawning error occur for either one of 2 reasons.
Hardware in this case probably monitor not correctly configured or has
fault.
Or software an rpm/patch not completely or correHello to all.
