which command can find out which users are currently logging on a
system?

I have a package say AAA-123.i386.rpm running on my OS with some
problem. Now I have downloaded a newer version say AAA-123a.src.rpm
and want to rebuild the existing package.
1) Do I want to use xwin32 to connect my linux server from my windows
workstation. but I do not want clear text transmitted over the network.
it seems X11 forwarding can encrypt the data over such connectio I have a system on which I did a new installation of RedHat 9.0.
I have samba and cups running on the system.
The samba software is working well enough that a Windows 98
system can see the samba Hello everyone
I 'm installing RH8.0 on two machines. One machine installs without
problem the other machine it starts well until it runs anaconda. From
there it asks me for language type of keyboaDoes Red Hat 8 (or Red Hat 9 for that matter) include support for
motherboards with 875P chipset?
Anyone using running RH8 RH9 on such a board?

When I login as USER a window named 'dsp-kate ' started automatically.
It can 't be closed but can be shrunk to bottom tool-bar. This would not
happen when lWhile logged in using Kde desktop I opened Nautilus.

I am trying to build the glibc rpm using the glibc src rpm that came
with rh8. I am trying to make glibc install on a different non-standard
directory tree (in /opt). There were a number of fixEither I can 't read a manpage or the manpage is wrong or `/bin/ls ' is
misbehaving. All three options seem far-fetched.
I expect `ls -l foo ' and `ls -lL bar ' to produce the same results if
