I hope someone can help.
I run a lab of RedHat Linux machines and want to be able to let the
students mount their USB pen drives.
I got a 512 MB drive and this worked fine
an entry was made I 'm using tcpdump to try and sniff my ethernet.
It seems like it is only able to sniff packets that are either to my RH
8.0 box or are broadcast packets.

I have installed RH8 here on my pc. I have a second pc that is in the
house I wish to gateway through mine to the internet via dialup.
Before I had this RH8 I was using RH7.3 and I used pmfirewall I have been successful in running the 'at ' command at a later time and date
however I would like to also like to be able to specify a certain number of
minutes less.
For example

I 've got my autofs maps setup to NFS mount home directories on my
mail server. This works fine when the clients with home directories are
up and running. But if a NFS/automount client machiAfter restarting the install twice and not having any luck I finally
just rebooted the machine.
Lo and behold....it works...
Spooky..but hey...I wouldn 't expect anything less on Helloween

when we get to the Add User/Root Password screen. We can add a
user but cannot type anything in the Root Password box.
