I have some RPM packages installed in my linyx box that are not being
recognized by the package manager (the program similar to gnoRPM) is there
any way to fix this problem ???
i.e. I havIn Phoenix browser .03
Has anyone tried compiling the following packages associated with
lm_sensors on an 8.0 machine? If you were able to get a clean compile
with no errors I 'd be grateful to know.

Does anyone have any experience analyzing wireless networks? I 'm trying
to get Ethereal Airsnort or Kismet to work. I haven 't had a lot of
luck with any of them. I cannot get Ethereal to dispIn /var/lib/rpm/macros %{_sysconfdir} is defined as %{_prefix}/etc.
Does rpm handle a prefix of /usr differently? I would assume that a

the servers from each other and from W2K systems.
BUT when froI am trying to use NFS to transfer data between a RH 7.3 (s7) and an RH
8.0 (s8) system.
I have tried the following on both system (ie coming from both directions).

I started mozilla today and it automatically logged into my starting
page as normal then crashed right out of X windows. I found that every
time that I tried to access www.canoe.ca the same occurs.
I have a usb cdrw .. it won 't work under cdrecord-1.10 but works fine
under any cdrecord-1.11 version. Is there a more up to date version
that 's compatible with psyche available?
Can the old Netscape Navigator RPMs from RH 7.3 be used in RH 8.0? The
jag-offs at my bank still refuse to support Netscape 6/7/Mozilla for
online banking.

Clemson UnivAnyone have any luck building and/or installing Evolution 1.2 beta from
Ximian? I 've started playing around with the RH7.3 source RPMs but have
not successfully built them. Looks like quite a few depDidn 't Red Hat used to include hfsutils or hfsplusutils (form
manipulating Mac files)? Is there a reason they weren 't included in 8.0?

I 've installed my true type fonts in /usr/share/fonts/local installed them
as indicated in the Release notes. They appear in all the desktop
applications but do not appear in the font selection lihi
