I will be out of the office starting 03/10/2004 and will not return until

I will be out of the office starting at EOD today and I will not return
until 03/22/2004. In my absGrub usually boots my rh9 from hd0 ok but sometimes tries to boot from
hd1. This appears to be random in nature. It then does successfully
boot from hd0 and generates a bunch of error messages. SI am trying to set up my system with a 2Wire Inc. PC Port. It is a USB device that will connect me to my home 's network.

I have two hard disks installed on one sits Win 98. I am attempting to
install RH on the second disk. Both disks work well and I can find no
problem any where in the system.
AfteI 'm not sure why java is so problematic in RH Linux. I 've had it running

Firstly let me to correct my previous message it was /usr/local not /opt!
So
1) I copied /usr/I 'm a new linux user. While installing RH 9 on a computer I just bought off
ebay (750 Mhz 80 Gig HD 256 Megs RAM Pro Savage4 32MB Video Card)
everything seems to go fine until x starts. At thI succeeded to fix the "problem "!
