although I came close I couldn 't seem to find the answer to

In a nutshell my question is I 've got an RHL8 system here that is giving me trouble with a DVD burn

installing Fedora on my pc where GRUB is already

Two days ago when I installed rh9 with X et al it got samba running for me
and I was able to see my win xp workstation from my rh workstation.
But now that I 've reinstalled w/o X I don 't sThis rh9 install came up with ssh but not ftpd. What am I missing here?
Want to be able to ftp into this box.

I 'm looking for any guidance on adding a DVD+/-RW type drive to a
system that already has a CDRW drive as a master on it 's own EDIE
channel. Should the DVD be master or slave? Matherbaord isI reinstalled rh9 last night. There is a 4gb ide with a 2.5gb slaved onto

I 'm getting ready to update some of the zones on my local DNS and I can 't
remember how to do it properly.
I can shut down named make the change and then restart it easily enough Trying to install RH9 on a scsi drive and using a scsi cd reader. It gets
to the point where it says 'starting kswapd ' and hangs. I 've tried using
'linux dd ' at the boot prompt but it never asks I am attempting to install RH9 on my HP5505 laptop and on every attempt the
installer tries to load the ohci1394 driver first. It hangs once that window
comes up and I haven 't been able to find anI have Linux (RH9.0) in /dev/hda2 Windows in
/dev/hda1 and then i 've got 8 GB of free space I
would like to know how to add that free space to my
Linux parition (/dev/hda2) using parted or somethTo change to the next view mode you can use the
ctrl-alt-numerickeyboard-+ hot key. But what do you do on a laptop that
has no numeric keyboard?
