I 've RH9 and Win2K dual boot configuration which is running fine. Problem with this is my hard disk is only 30 GB. Out of that I had given 20 GB for Win2K and 10 for RH9.

Ok we run userdel and get this from time to time
[root@(protected) etc]# /usr/sbin/userdel jattest
userdel unable to lock group file
We also get this for useradd etc.

OK - It 's a hack but it works.
For the records the changes to /etc/resolve are caused by the
PEERDNS-yes line. Changing that to no fixes the issue.
