I searched the sx4000linux@(protected) archives for RHEL but only
found one (not too promising) post about (not) getting the Promise SX4000
to work under RHEL 3.
Has anybodyI searched the archives (that 's acutally how I found this list) but I
didn 't see an answer.
Basically we wanted completely unattended kickstart instalations. The
problem I 'm having is that up2daHi
Do you know by if inet_ntoa_r() is supported under RHEL 3? (it is a
thread-safe implementation of inet_ntoa() call)
I searched for it but couldn 't find it... -(
if not supported is it pHi
with the beta of RHEL3U3 out for some time it should come of no suprise that
U3 is comming out sometime soon. In preparation of that I wrote a whitepaper
about the new security features that Does anyone know what the requisites are for running RHEL3 on a x336 are? Both the original and update2 boot.iso 's don 't recognize the network cards ...

TI started getting this message every time I run up2date on one of our
RHEL workstations
Invalid group id server-cfg
but other than that up2date continues to work fine. Does anyone know
what tI 'm a bit confused.
I have been able to use the jfs utilities available with a stock install
of Enterprise 3 AS to make a jfs filesystem.
But when I try to mount the filesystem using
mount -Hi
I 've got LDAP PAM authentication working. The problem I am having is
that nobody can login not even the entries defined in the passwd file
when the LDAP server is down or unreachable.
IDoes anyone know when Redhat will be issuing a 2.6 kernel for RHES3?

Besides my RHEL servers I also have a few FreeBSD servers. One of the

-r " will automagically logout all shell I will be out of the office starting 08/23/2004 and will not return until
