I have taken over managing this server and am looking for a good
solution to mirror the first disk onto the second one.

I just upgraded a server from rh7.2 to rhel3. I 'm trying to restore the
/etc/passwd shadow and group files back to /etc.
When I restore the passwd file I can 't log on with my user account or roethtool apparently doesn 't work with the 3c95x driver in RHEL3

But when starting the ldap server the database will not be created.
I get this message with "slapcat -d 255 "
