I have made a small diff list of what is missing in U4 isos.
Maybe it 's useful for some and maybe there are more packages missing.
It includes the new php packages.

We run up2date via cron on one of our development servers. After upgrading to U4
last night named was shut down as part of the upgrade but was never started again.
The logs show no sign of a I wonder what tools do people use to write dvd+RW under RHEL 3 (WS).
I am trying to build xcdroast but it clashes with the dvdrecord and cdrecord
that bundled with RHEL 3 kit.

was called sysstat-isag.
Has the isag package been removed in RHEL 3?

(hyperthreaded) but the initrd-2.4.21-20.27.ELsmp.img file was not created

We are building a couple of dual-CPU EM64T servers with RHEL3-AS at the
moment. When we go to install redhat-config-printer however it depends
on a lot of packages that we don 't wanHi
I am just dl 'ing the isos.
Seems Redhat has more bandwith now
it 's much faster than it was with U3
it 's 6MB/s at the moment.

I have a P4 with Hyper-Threading that is acting wierd. Hyper-Threading is
enabled in the BIOS and the BIOS splash screen shows 2 cpu 's. The problem
is that the kernel only recgonizes 1 cSo I 'd heard some (unconfirmed) rumors last week that today would be the
day RHEL v3 update 4 would be released. Does anyone know if that 's
true? Does anyone know how many package updates this iAnyone else having problems with bonding failover in Update 3? We have just
configured
a box with the latest U3 eratta. When we manually ifconfig the int 's up/down
failover works fine. If we pull tDuring the initial boot-up phase on an SMP system shouldn 't I see more
than one smiling Tux image at the top of the screen? I do on all the
dual Xeon systems at work but not on my dual Athlon systTrying to work things through openldap-2.0.27 and wondering if I
shouldn 't just bail on the rpms from Red Hat and go with the packages by
Symas.

RHEL ES v3 is at version 4.3.2 (29-May-2003) which is way older than
the affected 4.3.9 (and obviously way older than the fixed 4.3I only have two machines running the 2.4.21-25.ELhugemem kernel and they both
are reporting memory usage wrong in 'top ' but not in 'ps '. The 25.EL UP and
