software problem on RHEL3U2 (not RHEL 's problem it 's the software).

I 'm trying to go through the errata but I 'm only finding reI personaly have had pretty good luck with the HP drivers. The main
reason I load them is to find out when hardware fails (drives fans
etc.) Do people have another way to do this or do you just I agree. The HP system health drivers are poorly written. We have had
lockups 100% CPU utilization and other issues relating to these

anybody saw disk I/O degradation with current (2.4.21-27+) kernels?
After hours or days I have a lot of disc intensive processes in D state

During installation it aIs /dev/nvram supported for direct access to system BIOS? Certain
programs (tpb -- Thinkpad buttons) rely on /dev/nvram. I 've never
gotten tpb to work on RHEL 3.

I have lots of storage in a large Solaris samfs environment that is NFS
shared to a large number of Solaris and RHEL3 clients. Under some conditions
linux apps have been getting stale I am trying to install the GD perl module via CPAN. But it seems to be
failing and I am getting the below errors. Has anyone else come across this?

3 Update 4 server with both Samba and Cups running on the same server.
We have a problem where after some time (sometimes aMy RHEL3/ELu4 system appears to be confused about the number of CPUs it
should be running.
The first CPU is detected at boot time (naturally) but dmesg throws an

Intel 915GEV Motherboard
Dual 73Gb U320 SCSI 10k rpm disks
1Gb of dual chanel DDR2 533Mhz memory (matched pTry also ethtool eht0 - which will show you the nic settings as shown
below and let you change them.
You want to be sure that both the switch and the nic are set to
autonegotiate or hard ffullI don 't think this is the case I have seen *many* cisco switches (and
other gear too) that use 10/Half and they are switches that handle
10/100/1000 speeds. I don 't think duplex and speed go toget |
