I just installed RHEL 3 on a Dell Optiplex GX280 (Intel P4 2.8GHz) and ran
into problems with the sound.
Using 2.4.21-27.0.2.ELsmp kernel I was not able to get any sound either
from audio cOur main campus server has crashed twice in the last month. No syslog
messages nothing unusual on the screen SSH sessions and the console

I 'm attempting to install latest (0.81) ClamAV antivirus packages on my RH
ES 3.0 U4 box but I get

I know that this RPM is for Fedora Core1 but
When I first deployed RHEL 3 (shortly after release) and even
during the Update 1 or perhaps Update 2 days I didn 't have much I could
