Just wanted to get some feedback on experience with some of the
more common HBAs.
I 've been using Emulex 9002(DC)-E 's for our SANs but notice
lots of folks using qlogic cards I thought some of the folks here may be interested in the current legal

We are working on iSCSI and Fibre channel target for Linux based servers and
we noticed that the 3ware driver performance has dropped down in 2.4.21-27
Update 6 compared to Suse Linux SLES8. Does anyone know if there exists RHEL 3 compatible gnumeric package
somewhere? I have tried rebuilding the Fedora 1/2/3 gnumeric packages
on RHEL 3 but in all three cases they seem to depend on new Our dept runs approximately 100 copies of Redhat WS.
Even though WS is described as a desktop version of the OS
we also use it to run our servers since none of them need
the extra pac

I 'd like to move from ES 3 to Fedora. Is there a
suggested way of doing this besides wiping the drive
and starting over? Or can I 'upgrade ' the ES 3 to
Fedora and keep my settings and coEnvironment DL740 with all RH updates applied.

The last RHEL3 update pack contains a mailman package. I 'm using that
on a new mailserver and found a little problem with cron when starting/
stopping the mailman service. RedHat moves the Hi all
RH ES3 Update 4 box with the 'unsupported ' modules added.. Controller
is fine however the plugged in powered up disks are not seen.

I know RHEL has some functionnaly letting install a system remotely.
Remote media (HTTP/FTP/NFS) is well supported and kickstart allows to
automate a good part of the installation How can I make reverse lookups look at the hosts file. It seems that
all reverse lookups go directly to dns even though I have resolution set
to hosts files dns.
