yeah, but NoOp is really suggesting you use a file within your existing
filesystem. If you can do that, then you can scrap the swap partition and
put a real filesystem on it.

I use one of the fdisks (fdisk/cfdisk/sfdisk) or parted at times to view the
partitions, but if I really want to make any changes I'll use a LiveCD and
whatever partitioning tool it's got.
