  I did the clean and it came down to:

Filesystem       1K-blocks    Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/hda8         9187068  6624816  2095568 76% /

and this is a small change. It dropped 2% so there is a disconnect
between what df reports and what Disk Usage application reports.
