Hello all,
I performed a dist-upgrade from Kubuntu 7.10 to Kubuntu 8.04.
Since then I am experiencing hang-ups from time to time (not on specific tasks or applications), usually while navigating files using Konqueror. I hve an hierarchy of symbolic links pointing to the actual hierarchy of files - both on the same device.
I heard rumours the 8.04 version has hang-ups problems...
I tried to search through my mail archive of the list - and couldn find anything specific.
It usually happens after performing updates. The Progress Dialog window stays open after it finished (i.e. while copying a file) - it used to disappear after completing the operation.
Also, it sometimes hangs while I open a window containing a media file (say, a video), right after the preview comes up...
I don´t know where to look. I guess I am not the only one. Where can I find bug reports with possible solutions?
