On Ubuntu 8.04, JRE is installed:

> sudo update-alternatives --config java
> There is only 1 program which provides java (/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun/jre/bin/java). Nothing to configure.

But OO does not find it:

> $ oowriter hsrai_cemct06.doc &
> $ javaldx: Could not find a Java Runtime Environment!
> $ Error:java.util.zip.ZipException: error in opening zip file
> Error:java.lang.NullPointerException
> Error:java.util.zip.ZipException: error in opening zip file
> Error:java.lang.NullPointerException

How to resolve it?
