Well, I'm running KDE, and before I was able to switch between
desktops, and now I can't. compiz is running, but I go to the main
settings tab, have number of desktops set to 6 and 4, but the third
setting is locked at 1, even though in KDE I see four destops in the
kicker pager. Don't see why this wouldn't work, or why this would be
stuck in one desktop. The only thing I did was to compile some plugins
I found on the web for compiz, and restarted compiz and ccsm.

I'll try a restart again to see if that helps.
