I have yet to see ANY Spyware or AdWare on Linux over a decade fo full
time use.

Spyware and Adware lands in people's Windows setups from install
binaries for some app they download off the web. Ubuntu, openSUSE etc
all use standard repositories for the software. If.. if.. someone
managed to slip some adware or spyware into an app hosted in the
repos, you can bet it would be sanitized very quickly.
