i have googled and googled until my eyes are strained...i have a memorex
usb mp3 player that mounts just fine in 7.10. only problem is i can only
get it to mount ro. i have tried everything and can not get it to mount
rw. my entry in fstab is:

/dev/sdb1     /media/mp3    auto   rw,user,noauto       0 0

when it mounts it mounts with the following permissions:

drwxr-xr-x  2 jlwallen jlwallen 16384 2008-06-19 08:37 mp3
