Hi,

I'm wondering if there is any nice tool (and hopefully some tutorial pages if you know) to test my HDDs on Ubuntu 8.04? - just trying to test and compare **actual** read/write speed among different HDDs attached to it.

I'm looking for a tool that has nice GUI features, other than something like "hdparm -i /dev/sda" kind of stuffs. It would be nice if the tool can estimate the number of hours that the HDDs can healthly survive.
