Try Lightning with Mozilla's build of Thunderbird 2.0.0.14. I have
Lightning installed into the Thunderbird that can be obtained from
http://www.mozilla.com/ , and Lightning seems to be working correctly.

Note, this is only the second time I've ever used Lightning, so I'm not
*sure* that everything is working, but I was able to create a sample
event without problems. All the buttons I've clicked have worked.
