[rhelv5-list] Mysterious clustat segmentation faults

Zavodsky, Daniel (GE Money)

2008-04-29

Hello,
I am experiencing strange segmentation faults from clustat - it happens randomly on any node in any cluster, from time to time I see this in /var/log/messages:

clustat[31679]: segfault at 0000000000000024 rip 000000394a475bc0 rsp 00007fff85f47a38 error 4

The numbers are always the same (except for the PID). I did not setup any cron jobs and I really do not know what can invoke clustat on its own in the system. I am also running the "clustat" command quite frequently by hand and it has never segfaulted on me.
Has anyone else experienced this or have you got any clues as to what might run clustat on its own?

Thanks,
    Daniel
