If it helps at all, I do NOT see that behavior. The most open FDs I see
is about 40.

Subject: [rhelv5-list] nss_ldap leaking file descriptors
Folks,
Can anyone reproduce / verify the following:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=428837
RHEL 5 with nscd and nss_ldap is basically a ticking time bomb for me.
Eventually, the box loses its mind from nss_ldap leaking FDs.
