Hi list,
I have a rhel5 samba server as PDC and wins server, dhcpd server, dns server.
samba works ok and dhcpd too and dns too.
I have windows xp professional clients with dhcp y some win xp professional with static net setup.
but I have the following problem:
the win XPs dhcp clients see all win XPs except  the samba server in network neighborhood
the xp static clients see samba server in network neigborhood.
the win XP dhcp client show error dialog box when i attemp  join to samba pdc
the win XP static client show no error, i.e. show user/password dialog box to join to samba pdc.
