Dom0 does the TCP checksumming, so you do not need to worry - in fact
you should always set this off for DomUs.

Subject: [rhelv5-list] TCP offloading

Admittedly this is a tad bizarre but....

Dom0 host running RHEL 5.1 fully updated
DomU1 & DomU2 running RHEL 4.6 fully updated.

In doing some testing I noticed that I can't ssh between the 2 DomUs on
the same machine. After a little creative Giggling I found that if I do
the following on the DomUs

ethtool -K eth0 tx off

It fixes the issue. My question is what might break if I keep the TCP
checksumming offloaded?

Ethernet controller: Broadcom Corporation NetXtreme BCM5704 Gigabit
Ethernet (rev 10) on the DomO
