I need to be able to run graphical installation programs, but do not
need a complete GNOME desktop. I want to run remote X, so I don't need
a X-server, but need the libraries necessary to run most GUI-software
(installation software/setup software for WAS, etc)
I want a low number of packages installed, but want to avoid frequent
package installations as well.
What do you think?

What is missing for GUI applications?
@base-x?
Thanks,
Erling
