Works on my own brand new ThinkPad T61 running Fedora 8, both for login
and unlocking the screen saver, as well as for using sudo. Doesn't work
for resuming for suspend though.

There are thinkfinger packages for fedora that could undoubtedly be
rebuilt for rhel5. Might be worth putting it on the EPEL wish list.
