Ian,
That link was most helpful!

Suggestion to any RedHat ears listening here, this procedure is *far* less
intuitive than it could be. Given disks are nearly free these days, how
about giving us RAID with a dramatically reduced installation workload for
us non-guru's.

Does anyone have a monkey-see monkey-do click list for setting up software
raid during installation of RHEL 5.1?

I have 2 drives (sda2,sdb1) (not sure why a2 isn't a1) that are identical
and I wish to put /boot and / on them. I have a 3rd drive (sdc1) I want to
put /u and /swap onto.

I simply want sda2 and sdb1 to be a RAID 1 mirror, covering as much of the
Opsys as s/w RAID will allow.

If anybody has any such checklist for any configuration I could most likely
tailor it to my needs. It's just I have no monkey-see list to adapt.
