I dont understand.

- Mandriva requirements are 256 MB of Ram : which i586 powered system have that ? The standard amount when this kind of system were on the market was 32 MB, 64 MB at best.

- Even if the LiveCD/DVD can boot, it would be barely usable with Gnome/KDE/Xfce.

- If I had one of these systems, I would probably choose not to waste any ressources, and so, to use a specialized distribution.
