[Cooker] Enabling Xine-pulse as the default backend for Phonon in KDE4

Hi,

As things stand, it would appear (on my initial investigation) that the
xine backend for phonon selects the hw device for sound output.

Enabling xine's pulse plugin is somewhat awkward it seems, as you have
to tick the box to show "advanced" options and then prefer the Xine
pulseaudio output above all others for all the different types.

So what's the best way to enable this by default? Does phonon use
whatever xine says is the default? If so then it's probably best to make
xine default to use the pulseaudio output. This wasn't done in 2008.1 as
the patch that reworked xine's PA support only made it in at the last
moment and we didn't have over long to test it. Having used it a while,
it seems pretty damn solid so this gets my vote if it's workable for phonon.

Col
